STEVEN regards every interior project as a unique and personal collaboration between designer and client. By closely surveying and sensitively assessing individual needs, we’re able to articulate a client’s distinctively singular vision through which a meaningful and nuanced custom design plan is achieved. Every plan is devised to seamlessly reflect our clients’ present reality and lifestyle, yet is thoughtfully designed for modification and adaptation as lives and circumstances evolve and shift.

It’s our practice not to define an aesthetic as simply traditional or modern. Rather than drawing inspiration from the past and present, we rely on the many visual and emotional appeals that move and inspire our clients. We believe successful interior design should be purposeful, functional and beautiful; essentially livable, warm and inviting; and intrinsically keyed to the rhythms of contemporary life.

STEVEN RASNICK

Before completing his formal studies in interior architecture and honing his craft at award-winning design firms based in Boston, New York, Miami, and San Francisco, Steven lived and worked in Stockholm. There he was first apprenticed to a Swedish collective of designers, artists and artisans who infused him with superlative practical skills, an abiding appreciation for the tenets of Scandinavian design, and an unshakable respect for simple, striking and timeless architecture and interiors. The benefits of this tutelage continue to nurture and guide the STEVEN creative approach all these years later.

STEVEN projects have appeared in myriad shelter magazines and in a book by the Architecture & Design journalist and former Hearst Publications editor Jean Nayar.
